Listen Live Help
The Listen Live button in our side-bar links to a .pls file, which should automatically download to your computer and open your default media player. On Windows this will be either WinAmp or Windows Media Player. We also recommend iTunes and VLC. On Mac OS X the default media player for .pls files will probably be iTunes. We also recommend VLC and Quicktime.
Streaming to mobile devices
If you have a mobile phone or iPod capable of Wi-Fi internet connectivity, you should have no problem browsing the special mobile version of this site. You should also be able to pick up our Listen Live stream on any 3G device, such as netbook or smart-phone, which is Adobe Flash enabled. But if you do experience difficulties, such as stuttering or drop outs, please send an email to technicalsupport@wearradio.co.uk
Windows Media Player must be configured correctly to support Listen Live playback. If playback does not automatically start, by opening Windows Media Player, once the Listen Live link in the side-bar is clicked:
- Install the latest version of Windows Media Player [Download from Microsoft.com]
- Copy the following URL into your clipboard and paste it into Windows Media Player using the menu File > Add to Media Library > Add URL…
http://panel3.serverhostingcenter.com/tunein.php/wearadio1/playlist.asx - You might also try pasting that address into VLC, using the menu File > Open Network. [Download VLC]
- You can also paste that address into iTunes, using the menu Advanced > Open Audio Stream… [Download iTunes]
As a general rule of thumb, if VLC can not play something the problem is with your computer, not the source material. You should also make sure your Firewall, Router and Virus Scanner software are configured properly. If you are still having trouble listening to our Live stream and you are sure the problem is on our side and not with your computer please send an email to technicalsupport@wearradio.co.uk – Thanks!

Studio Cam Help
If you are unable to view the studio cam when we are broadcasting live from our main studio, you may need to install the latest version of Adobe Flash.
For reasons of licensing compliance, the video stream does not have an audio soundtrack. WearRadio content may only be played in the UK via the Listen Live buttons in the righthand side-bar, which should open in your default media player when clicked (see above).
If the large play button in the centre of the Studio Cam video opens on UStream’s web site, instead of inside WearRadio’s Studio Cam page, it may be because we are not broadcasting from our main studio at the time you are listening in. We hope to have live studio video available for all of our prime-time shows as soon as possible.
Occasionally, however, even when we are broadcasting live from our main studio, UStream still opens in a new window. We are aware of this problem, but it is beyond our control. UStream have been made aware of the error several times. This bug also seems to affect the closing of embedded ads at the bottom of the video playback pane. WearRadio do not control any of the ads which are delivered by UStream.TV
